100 AK-47 Rifles Stolen By Hoodlums In Lagos During EndSars Protest    A commission of inquiry set up by Inspector-General Mohammed Adamu to investigate damage to the Nigerian police during the EndSars protest says nearly 100 Ak-47 rifles were stolen. The chairman of the 10-member committee, CP Yaro Abutu, told the newsmen on Saturday that in addition to the firearms, 2,600 rounds of ammunition were also stolen during the violence that erupted as a result of the protests. He added that 37 police stations in the state had been attacked and destroyed. In addition, 367 of their vehicles were destroyed, including 10 silk cars and a small Hilux minivan.   The chairman of the committee said they were also collecting losses incurred by the police on the ground as a whole. Lagos Govt Orders Release Of 253 Arrested #EndSARS Protesters The Lagos State government through the office of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN) has directed the courts to release 253 persons arrested by the Police in connection with the #EndSARS protest in the state. The directive was contained in an advisory by the state’s Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) where it noted that no prima facie evidence that they committed any crime existed. The DPP statement noted that the Police forwarded 40 case files in respect of 361 persons arrested in connection with the #EndSARS protests for Legal Advice, between November 4 and 5, 2020 but 253 of them were found to be innocent of charges brought against them.   Of the 108 others left, the DPP explained that it will be prosecuting 92 persons for various offenses including arson, armed robbery, and murder while the Police has been advised to carry out more investigation on 16 persons. Mysterious disease claims over 30 lives in Delta community No fewer than 30 deaths have been recorded following the mysterious disease ravaging Ute Okpu and Idumesa communities in Ika North East LGA of Delta State.     The state government which last weekend raised the alarm of the death of 15 youths within the age bracket of 18 to 25 years old in the two communities suspected hemorrhagic fever, or substance abuse as the likely cause of the deaths. The news reports gathered that some of the victims vomited blood while others complained of general fatigue, headache, and feverish condition before death. A mother, Mrs. Monica Emeke who lost two of her children, (a boy 26 and girl 22) at Ute Okpu expressed worry over the rate at which death was occurring as five persons died in one day in the community. Russian airstrikes kill three civilians in Syria Three civilians were killed on Wednesday morning in northwestern Syria by airstrikes attributed to Russia, according to local media in the Idlib province. The sources said that the airstrikes had occurred in Ariha in southern Idlib, in an area outside of government control and where armed groups backed by Turkey operate. In recent days, tension has risen once more between Russian-backed Syrian government forces and armed opposition groups on the Idlib frontline.

Uwazuruike Attacks Nnamdi Kanu Over Oyingbo Killings, Says 'Wike Is Innocent'   The founder of the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Ralph Uwazuruike, has accused the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, of being responsible for the killings in Oyigbo area of Rivers State, south-south Nigeria. News reports that the MASSOB leader made this comment in an interview monitored on YouTube, in reaction to the alleged massacre of Nigerians in Oyigbo, a place Kanu calls “Obigbo” (dominated by Igbos). While Kanu is accusing Governor Nyesom Wike of being responsible for the alleged massacre in Oyigbo, Uwazuruike on the other hand, said it was unacceptable and irresponsible to claim that the Rivers State Governor was killing Igbos because the Army started a military operation to fish out hoodlums, who killed its operatives and took their rifles in the council.
