Ghanaian footballer Asamoah Gyan is reportedly broke, he has just '£600 in his bank account.' Flamboyant footballer, Asamoah Gyan , who plays as a striker for Turkey's Kayserispor and captains the Ghanaian national team, is reportedly broke and has just £600 in his bank account. Asamoah who left Sunderland in 2012, spent three years at UAE club Al Ain where he earned almost £200k a week and scored an impressive 123 goals in 120 appearances. He later made a big money move to the Chinese Super League, spending the 2015 and 2016 seasons at Shanghai SIPG where he earned £227,000-a-week before returning to the UAE with Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai. Last year, he moved to Turkey's Kayserispor and now things appear to have taken a turn for the worse and he is reportedly unable to provide for his family. , Media personality, Nathaniel Adejoh who got married in April, dies at 33 Media personality, Nathaniel Adejoh, has died. Nathan who is from Kogi state, died on Monday December 24th after a long battle with an undisclosed ailment. Nathan who got married to his pretty wife, Rachel, in April 2018, was 33 years old. His friends and family had a candle light for him on Friday, December 28th. His remains will be buried on Saturday December 29th. His friends have taken to social media to mourn him. See below.

, Buhari, Atiku, others must undergo mental health tests before 2019 elections – CUPP The Coalition of United Political Parties has called for mental health tests for President Buhari; former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and all other candidates contesting the 2019 presidential election.   It said the test should be conducted by an independent team of experts in mental health issues. The coalition’s demand was contained in a statement by its first national spokesman, Imo Ugochinyere.   Ugochinyere said the test was necessary in order to ascertain the presidential candidates’ mental stability before elections, “so that any person who does not pass the examination should not be allowed to participate in the election.” He said the CUPP had secured the assurances of Atiku, who is contesting the election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, to subject himself to the medical test in the general interest of Nigeria.   `He urged Buhari to speak mo

Facebook user, Anya Vincent, who shared the story online, said residents of the area alleged that the lady assists robbers who terrorise the area. , Sokoto state declares December 31st as public holiday to pray for Shehu Shagari Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state, has declared Monday, December 31, as public holiday in the state to enable residents offer special prayer for the repose of the soul of former President, Shehu Shagari.   This is contained in a statement by Tambuwal’s Director General, Media and Public Affairs, Malam Abubakar Shekara, and issued to newsmen on Saturday in Sokoto. Tambuwal said that the declaration followed consultation with the Sultanate Council.   “The state government therefore, requests Imams across Sokoto and the general public to dedicate the day for special prayers for the repose of the soul of the former President and for peace and progress of the nation at large. The government also directs all flags at public and private premises be flown at half mast in honor of the late former President, Shehu Shagari,” it said.
